Holiday Scarf

Holiday Scarf- A relaxed project

One strand of light grey alpaca-silk and one strand of hand painted merino-silk gave me a colourful but not too “noisy” yarn. The Scarfpossibilities are endless. I chose a simple stitch pattern that looks good even though your yarn might be a little unbalanced and uneven. Forget all about gauge swatches. A scarf doesn’t have to fit.

Approximately 22cm * 160 cm.

115 g hand spun 2-ply - 14 WPI.

4 mm Gauge: Not important.

Cast on 51.1- row stitch pattern: Slip first stitch as if to purl, yarn over, knit 2 together, repeat from  to.

Go on this way row after row until the end of the yarn (or the end of your holiday).

Bind off and weave in ends.
