Happy you could drop in. I am Kevin Rhodes born in the Fylde and living in Kirkham. Having an inherant intrest in wood and art since childhood and following  an enforced career change, I now enjoy the craftsmanship of woodturning. Having mastered the basic skills I now specialise in a wide variety of unique hand turned boxes, bowls, platters, spindles and art forms. I enjoy working with all our native woods, sometimes adding some exotic wood d'ecor. One day Laal Bear stoped in, that had purchased several items from me and asked if I could build a drop spindle. After some experimentation and research I came up with a workable drop spindle. And since that time, I've turned my creativity to drop spindles. Currently selling through my Website, Craft Fairs and undertaking commisions I am now trying to begin a new career in "wood".
